Whether you are furloughed, still working, or looking for a new job in these challenging times, there are a number of things you can do, to put yourself in the strongest position, once we are back to work.

It’s a great time to update existing skills, whether that be numeracy or maybe even taking digital skills courses.  These can be great to add to your cv and give you more confidence when applying for a new job, or just in day to day life.

The Department for Education has launched The Skills Toolkit, an online platform offering free numeracy and digital skills courses. These are available for everyone, with a collection of job-related online courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

Graphology

Attended a really informative and insightful graphology course today at South Lodge Hotel.  Having worked with psychometric assessments previously, this could definitely benefit some organisations in candidate profiling and I will be looking into this further.  I was amazed at some of the traits and behaviours that the handwriting analysis can reveal.  If you are interested in learning more, please email or call me and we can explore.
