Job Profile and Summary

This is a unique role, working within a small and friendly team, although the organization has offices across the world.  For the right individual, there are a great deal of opportunities to develop and be involved in a variety of tasks.  This diverse role will involve liaising with customers, engineers and colleagues, providing superb customer care and organizing logistics, appointments and providing general administrative support, along with some general finance support.  There is free onsite carparking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General administrative duties
  • Answering customer calls and email requests
  • Liaising with engineers across the country to allocate appointments and work
  • Producing quotations for customers
  • Preparing Service Reports
  • Invoicing customers
  • Diary management of field engineers
  • Organising and controlling the training schedules for engineers
  • Providing assistance and scheduling workloads to the sales team, remote colleagues – engineers
  • Assisting the Accounts Manager, with duties to include accounts payables/receivables, company vehicles, filing etc) – training given
  • Keeping the SAP database up to date and accurately recording activities

  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to listen and follow instruction
  • Follow tasks through to completion
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Competent keyboard skills
  • Computer literacy: SAP (preferable but not necessary); Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Plenty of initiative
